Celtic Rangers betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

I have already said that Celtic and Rangers are "separate" teams in the Scottish Premier League, and the standings prove it year after year. Even so, Celtic are still a cut above Rangers. They have proven it, not only in the titles they have won, but also in the results they have achieved most of the times they host Rangers. The probability of victory is high, and with the bookmakers quoting Celtic's victory at around 1.60 it is worth the risk.

Preview
The 4th round of the Scottish Premier League will feature one of the two most eagerly awaited games of the year. The two strongest teams face off in a match that everyone wants to see. Celtic, the reigning champions, host runners-up Rangers. In addition to the standings, these are two historic rivals and know that many championships are decided in these direct clashes. Celtic come into this match in first place, having won all their games. Rangers are a little behind, with 7 points, in 3rd place. So, a great show is expected at the legendary Celtic Park Stadium, this coming Sunday, at 12:30 local time and mainland Portugal time.

Analysis Celtic

Celtic were crowned champions once again and are heading into the 2024/2025 Premier League with the firm goal of defending the title. So far, they have not given their opponents a chance and have won all their games. In the first round, they "dispatched" Kilmarnock with a resounding (4-0). Right then, Celtic wanted to show that they will not let up in the fight for the title. The 2nd round arrived and Celtic went to Hibernian's ground to win (0-2). Another victory and a "clean sheet" in terms of goals conceded. And since "there are no two without three", Celtic went to St. Mirren's ground in the 3rd round to win again and without conceding a goal, with a score of (0-3). And in between these games, they also played in the League Cup and beat Hibernian, but this time "there was news", Celtic conceded a goal, with a score of (3-1). Now, in this 4th round, they are preparing to host the eternal rival that they beat last season by (2-1). If they manage to win, and Aberdeen do not win, Celtic could be alone in first place already in the 4th round.

Confirmed Lineup: Kasper Schmeichel, Liam Scales, Alistair Johnston, Greg Taylor, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, Paulo Bernardo, Callum McGregor, Nicolas Kühn, Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda.
Coach: A. Postecoglou.

Analysis Rangers

Rangers dropped their first points in the first round. I had already mentioned the consequences that this can have when you have an opponent in the fight for the title with the level of Celtic. It is true that the game was of a high level of difficulty, or they would not have been playing at the ground of the third-placed team from last season. However, Rangers quickly started winning and picked up 6 points in the following two games. The first was against Motherwell, a marginal but fair victory (2-1). And in the third round they thrashed Ross County (6-0). That was a good "rehearsal" for the big game of the fourth round. In this round it is time to go to Celtic Park where Rangers have not been happy. In the last 5 matches at Celtic Park, Rangers have always been defeated. The team led by P. Clement knows that much of Rangers' aspirations of winning the championship depend on what they can do in these games against Celtic. Will Rangers come away with a different result from their last 5 previous away games?

Confirmed Lineup: Jack Butland, Robin Propper, Jefte Vital da Silva Dias, Dujon Sterling, John Souttar, James Tavernier, Connor Barron, M. Diomande, Rabbi Matondo, Cyriel Dessers, Václav Černý.
Coach: G. van Bronckhorst.
